We are currently looking for a full time BOOKINGKEEPING Clerk/OFFICE assistant to become part of our team for a long-term position and to become an integral part of our organization.
We are looking for someone with energy, drive, enthusiasm and a desire to develop their career further.
Responsibilities
The Bookkeeping Clerk will have the ability to perform General
Accounting/Bookkeeping duties including and not limited to the following:
- Accounts Payable – Matching and posting vendor invoices with purchase orders; reconciling vendor statements as well as preparation of vendor payments either by cheque, EFT payments.
- Accounts Receivable – Reconciling and posting of all bank deposits including credit card, cheque and EFT’s including customer collections which may include direct customer contact.
- Processing, tracking and payment of all monthly re-occurring operating expenses.
- General data entry, account reconciliations, general office duties, which will include filing and occasional telephone/reception, etc.
- Support General Manager in any other functions as directed.
Experience Required
A basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting is required. quickbook online, google sheet, etc
Must have solid analytical skills and attention to detail, self-motivation and ability to take on new challenges.
Ability to work effectively individually and with the team. Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic and good computer skills and knowledge.
